Rehearsal for Concert!

it has been a long saturday.. almost filled up by chinese orchestra practice, though time flew quite past for me actually. today's the 7th of january, to our concert on 15th jan, it's just a few countable days.. 1 week or so.

personally feel, not as Perfect like for SYF, haha.. coz unable to memorise all songs though.. reason for thought is because if very, and i mean Very familiar with the song.. will definitely be able to play it just in the mind, without scores, coz it's saved in the hard disk in the brain.. im sure many of us Co members were able to bah. =) great that we got Gold yea! infact, on that SYF day itself, i didnt bring my bassdrum scores, coz mainly it's quite trouble to set up a stand and all that in that chaotic place where movement should be reduce 2 the minimum.. but phew, i was able to supress the nervousness and played my best with my memory =D made it, yea!

well, this concert is quite a rush for everyone, but i think we are gonna make it just in time for pleasant music worth the concert main motive to raise funds!!

after our lunch today.. we're supposd to assemble in hall @ 1pm.. and on the way back it rained slightly and many of us got drenched, but quite stylo to have white dots on black t-shirt.. =/ it was around 1, and wah, saw the keyboard zhen lao shi brought.. quite big, bigger than the one i have at home, with big speakers at the sides lol.. anyway it really looks cool 2 me somehow..

oh, and we have a malay friend drummer for our concert. he should be very experienced of course.. look at the way he plays! haha.. then, he taught wenda some other cool ways to play the snare drum by rotating it and use the other end of the drumstick to hit the snaredrum sometimes just for the fun of it to enjoy.. hmm, looks unique 2 me. oh and he created his rhythm for 1 bar of zi you before part C. lol.

then the singers... marcus chin dunno why he didnt arrive at his scheduled 1.30pm.. 3.30pm he still didnt arrive and he never came eventually.. first up was some male singer, who never come before.. he sings peng you(not jackie), sheng si xiang xu(not maggie).. which are both duets. but something just dont sound right with him.. my ear not sensitive to keys, so i dont know is his pitching sustaining problem or his singing voice is too messy or smth.. *blur

hmm, then after much anticipation, jackie and maggie finally arrived at 4.30pm or so i think, haha. maggie isnt so thick on her makeups this time i think, and jackie has a black cap o.0 they were in a rush to arrive somewhere else later by 5.30, probably the pop concert by singapore poly? woo, welcome both of them.. they sing quite nice to me lah, esp that maggie with her ��Ҫ4, and Sometimes when We Touch.. jackie's not bad either, haha, they rock ba!

it's been a loooong day but time realli flew as i tried to master as perfectly as possible.. this entry is really long as well.. shall end here, work hard and good luck all!
