Wednesday, August 30, 2006 the first 3 prelim examination papers have passed! the exams has begun, and it will continue.................... until november? lol.. that is of course inclusive of O levels la.. hmm.. the first paper on onday was physics practical, prepared quite hard for it, almost the whole weekend! but due to unforseen circumstances, things didnt go smoothly, but i believe i still can do well larrrr.. must have faith, lol. a slight elaboration on what went wrong -- u know about the plasticine at the bottom of the straw thing? when i immersed my FIRST straw into the water and place a few lead shots inside, water entered.. i asked for a replacement... there comes straw number TWO, i place it in the measuring cylinder filled with water, balanced it upright, drop in my first copper 'rod'?.. omg water leak in again! then i had to raise my hand and get another replacement.. straw THREE arrives, the invigilator and lab technician stood by the bench and watch me do, i was stressed by their presence(hoping that i didnt get the process wrong from the beginning).. when i was able to make the straw upright, i double checked the straw.. finally! the inner surface isnt wet! so i gave a light smile to them and said thanks, to signal it's okayy this time. then i proceeded with the expt. firstly, i add the original copper rod into it and measure all the required values. then, when the second n third copper rod went into the straw, it leaked slightly..!! by then i think it's already 20+ mins past the switch-over time.. i wished that it wont leak as i insert more copper rods, but nah, lol.. before i could add my 5th copper rod.. the thing was submerged under water, which is not right. dang, i cant resart again cause by then i have only 20mins left. and i have to restart all over again with less than half the 'proposed' time?! so i recorded a negative answer. lol. i didnt have time to plot the graph, and the following questions that are related to it.. okae nvm. end of elaboration- english -- my first time doing personal recount in secondary school life during exams, other than once during secondary one maybe. i wrote about that unfortunate incident --> stronger bond question... haha. "please do well please do well" biology -- not much on food test, very much on theory. so vegetabled. the celery has a strong smell! and the never-drawn-before seedling. it's slender and tall.. i measured my seedling and the drawing and realised that i shortended the middle part by alot, hahaha.. my seedling is about 190mm! anyway, tomorrow's ACES DAY.. hmm, i quite like the dance la, a form of relieving daily school stress. cause it can make me relaxed and forget about studies. hahaha. but arh, a pity our class nvr learn finish the whole set of dance, alamak.. learn halfway. try to follow others tmr. OH, and president's coming down to our temasek school! wah, significant figure! rare sight! lastly, goodbye and have a good day aheaddd expressed with thought` 4:17 PM ;
